I admit that i need to do some serious ab workouts, but the problem is that I don’t know what to do, besides the obvious sit-ups and chrunches… Does anyone know any ab workouts that have a little yoga twist to it??? If you know any really effective ab workouts, plz let me know! and tell me how to do that workout. And if anyone knows an awe-mazing workout website, plz let me know. Thanks.

Question by sixrubberduckies: What are some good stomach workouts to burn fat?
My roomie and I are looking for some fat burning stomach workouts but all we have are 2 3-pound weights. We will not be buying any more equipment so what can we do to burn stomach fat without any extra stuff? Thanks!

You can’t choose where the fat your body burns will be. If you do crunches you could lose weight in your legs. Just go for walks or jogs and do leg workouts. (Building up leg muscles makes you burn fat faster.)

You can start going to the gym or just visit some sites that has exercise videos, or you could buy an Exercise Vid so that you could make it at home…
Well, here are some good ideas I have found..:
Sumo squat (12 reps): stand with feet a bit wider than the hips apart. Hold one weight in both hands right above your head. Then squat low and swing the weight in between your legs, then forward, lifting it back, your body returning to standing position.
Sidestepper (12 reps): stand with feet hip-wide apart, with toes out. Hold a weight in each hand in front of the thighs. Step the left as you draw your arms towards your chest, with your elbows bent. Then push off your left foot and bring down the weights to return to your starting position. Repeat the same on your right for another rep.
Dragonfly (12 reps): begin with all fours, holding a weight on each hand. Then extend your left leg behind you in line with your body. Next, extend your right arm out to side at shoulder level. Keep the left leg lifted, then curl the weight towards your chest. Straighten your am for one rep, then switch sides.
Back attack (10 reps): lie with face down and legs pressed together. Reach behind back, and interlace fingers and draw the shoulder blades together. Then lift your chest off the ground as you kick your heels toward the butt with control. Do three times for one rep.
