Question by paramore06226: Get a flat belly for bikini before summer?
I figured this would be around a good time to start shedding some pounds. So, here’s the deal, I dance almost everyday for a minimum of 2 hours sometimes going up to 5 or 6 hours. I eat pretty well, but I want a flat stomach before summer. Any tips or anything to help me? I only need to lose about 3 inches on my lower abs and that’s all.

Just throw some crunches and planks into you normal routine and your stomache should flatten right up.
Main crunches to do. Normal Crunches, Bicycle Crunches, Hip raises, and vertical leg Crunches.

Like what kind of crunches, how many, and how many sets?
What do people mean by crunches? Like are those the kind that you go all the way up and back down, or where you only go half way up and down? And are you supposed to flex your abbs when you do this?

Question by vineo76: How important is the diet when it comes to a workout plan?
I read these magazines that have these excellent workout plans. I do the workouts, but I don’t do the crazy diet that they show with it. I don’t eat a lot of egg whites and things like that, but I do make sure I eat healthy and drink protein shakes like “Muscle Milk”. Is it important to follow the diet plan that they have in these magazines? I mean, prisoners don’t follow a series diet plan and they come out pretty ripped.

The diets they use are just examples, but to pack on the muscle then dieting properly is essential. you should go to a body building forum rather than this one, to find out information. I would help you more but im busy and cant write much. sorry

Question by Intricated: What are the best weight loss diets/drinks that actually work?
My mum and I have been trying to lose weight and we don’t know what shakes/diet pills/programs ect actually work and we don’t want to waste our money on something that doesn’t work and then get discouraged.

We can only afford quick meals for dinner do i lower my intake on whatever i eat.Also i go through rigorous weight training advice needed to reduce body fat

umm quick meals with healthy food… eggs, oatmeal, frozen veggies, and frozen chicken. there i solved ur problem… cheap foods that are easy to cook and fast
drink water only (water is cheap aswell just turn on the sink)
