Wouldn’t suggest buying 1.M.R.,
I am a member at GNC and while in there one day, the cashier gave us a lot of samples of various pre-workouts. He gave us two packets of the 1.M.R. so my boyfriend and I each tried one before a workout.
I will say that this pre-workout definitely came on quickly. Within 10-15 minutes, I was ready to go to the gym and workout. My workout was pretty good (nothing better than what I have experienced on C4, Body Rush, AC/G3). Like I said, the taste wasn’t at all too bad; especially compared to the Neurocore that I use now (if you’ve had it in fruit punch, anything is better than that).
However, although the taste wasn’t bad, it came on quickly, and gave me a pretty nice workout, the after effects it gave me make me want to stay away. After my workout, I had an awful stomachache. I felt like I wanted to crawl in bed for the rest of the day; not only because I felt awful, but because it made me crash. Although a lot of pre-workouts result in a crash, this is the worst one I have experienced. I felt very shaky after my workout (and not because of a good workout feeling) and it just wasn’t a great feeling. My boyfriend also had problems with a crash/rotten stomach feeling. I had a sour stomach from this for about 24-hours.
Although there were a few benefits from 1.M.R, I would suggest trying other brands. I personally have tried Body Rush, C4, and AC/G3 and while all of those gave me a great workout, I really felt a crash afterwards. I now use Neurocore and I love it. It does take a bit longer to kick in (about 20-25 minutes) but I don’t get jittery like I do on the others, I just get a warm sensation. It gives me a great workout and I don’t crash afterwards. The only downside to Neurocore is that the flavors, Fruit Punch and Grape, are pretty awful. They only had fruit punch at first and that’s the worst, then they added the Grape flavor and, although that still tastes bad, it’s much better than the Fruit punch.
All in all, the cons outweigh the pros of 1.M.R. big time. If you have a sensitive stomach, I would suggest Neurocore or possibly one of the others I listed.

|Fast Acting but Caused Nausia,
This stuff worked and worked very quickly. I got the tingles and energy boost in 10-15 minutes and seemed to sustain that energy through most of the workout. I would say I got through about 85% of my workout with good energy. As far as the taste, it really wasnt too bad, a lot better than Neurocore or Body Rush. I did get a chalky texture and tast in my mouth too. Nonethless, I’d give the taste a B- as it is easily tolerable. I got these on a free sample from GNC.
Now, I have tried many other preworkouts, including AC/G3 (highly recommended: Best taste and results), Neurocore, C4, and Body Rush. That being said, 1MR is the only one that really wreaked havoc on my stomach. I really did not feel well for a while after my workout. Just a naucious/dizzy, rotten feeling with a lot of burping and what not, not pleasant. My girlfriend complained with the same issue, even feeling really shaky after her workout(not the shaky you get from lifting). Also, I experienced a slight crash afterwords, but this is minor and is common with these types of supplements.
Overall, It seemed pretty effective, tasted ok, and worked very fast (fastest of any preworkout I have tried). However, I would not recommend to those with even mildy sensitive stomachs. If you have a cast iron gut and are looking for a fast acting supplement, I beleive this will work for you.
Although, I would reccomend AC/G3 over the competition, followed by the C4. These are great preworkouts for me. Just try and get a hold of different products to see what best works for you (GNC will sometimes give away free samples). Trial and error are key with these types of supplements. I’ve conducted experiments on workouts with and without a preworkout and noticed a tremendous difference. They really do work.

|Great stuff.. however,
I bought this little trial pack of 6 to try out. I used to take NoXplode and thought i would try this out. I haven’t taken any supplements for a while, and because of that i think my body grew slightly sensitive, To my point, The workout was great, great pump, great energy and alertness. I worked out heavy for an hour around 6pm at night, however i could not sleep very good for the rest of the night, i went to bed around 11-12. Was it the product?
Taste is much better than any NOxplode i’ve taken. No grittiness at all and goes down easily. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone trying to up the pace of their workout, to sustain energy levels and maximize the drive that goes into each rep. However, just know there is a chance you may not get the sleep you wanted if you take this in the later hours of the day.
