what are the best workouts for a girls body to get flat and tight abs?
i dont feel like spending money on the gym or weights.. so what are some things i can do that don’t need weights, the gym.. or equiptment?

im not big, and not really looking for losing any fat, i just want more of a defined belly…
i know i need body fat to survive, but im still under the average to be healthy. its 23% for women, and im only 16%

Question by brazen: Does extreme calorie restriction (under 1000 a day) cause rapid weight loss or does it slow the metabolism?
I’ve seen two conflicting stories about extreme calorie restriction. One says that it causes rapid weight loss, the other that it slows the metabolism and causes an inability or decrease in speed of losing weight. Which is true? Any personal experiences?

The first two days or so there will be weight loss. After that, your metabolism just slows down. You’ll notice because you begin to get less hungry. Here is the deal. You are obviously thinking about losing weight. The way to do it is to:
1. exercise at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week
2. stay away from all sweet things (ex: brownies, donuts)
3. when eating bread, make sure it is whole grain and not white; white bread is pretty much just sugar because your stomach doesn’t need to work hard to break it down

i haven’t lost it all yet…i’ve still got a little ways to go to shed fat, but i’ve just been eating less fast food, making more meals at home, drinking more water, and exercising. i’ve lost 8 lbs in 2 months…sometimes i’m ‘lax’ on the exercising…so that’s probably why it’s slow, but i can definitely see a difference in my stomach
