Question by Chan: Does elliptical machine and swimming burn fat at your stomach?
For my cardio I’ve been using the elliptical machine for about an hour on max resistance. The Machine says I burn 800 calories. I know the machine is not that accurate. I swim for about 25-30 minutes as well. I was wondering does these two things burn fat at my stomach? I want a flatter stomach.

I workout 4 days a week.

Yes I also do sit-ups. I was wondering if the elliptical machine and swimming was helping aswell
Obviously this is just my cardio. I also do resistance

You cannot target fat burning. You can only do it all over your body. In order to get a flat stomach, you have to lower you body fat percentage. If you’re lucky it will start in you abs, if not it can be the last thing that you burn. Just burn calories.

Swimming and elliptical or whatever sport is as good as the number of calories that you can burn. I find that swimming requires really good technique to be able to burn lots of calories. Elliptical is fine and if your machine sais 800 calories, it should be close. This is great and if you continue like this you should lose more than 1 pound of fat a week if you eat properly (no starvation).

Guys need less than 10% body fat for ripped abs, girls about 15%.

I have a big tummy and I’m not very fat.I’m 3pounds over.If I eat less and brisk walk for one hour a day/6 a week ,how long do I need to get flat tummy.I hate work out.Can you suggest a diet that really works.I need someone that did something and got the flat abbs.

people often wear there stress in there stomaches therefore that is where the weight will be attracked to release the stress n the lbs should follow
